Sweet!!

Do you have any screen-shots of what you were able to achieve yet?

Congrats E6300 is hard to clocking due to low multiplier - you need a good board. On E6420 I have 579 FSB (validation) but it was absolutely the end (I think that motherboard was a bottleneck). I saw even 666 FSB on hwbot (e6550) so it's possible. Maybe your ram is too weak?

And about pot - nice idea, but what your temps in idle and load? On normal pot you should have even -65 to -70C temps and trust me - it really affects your clocks And try to fill your pot with dice, because it may help a little.

I suggest trying with e8500, just don't set vcore above 1,8V and everything should be ok. It's a lot of better cpu to clocking, even for newbies

well i added bb's like ira said. and once again he is the man.

the temps are still dropping, but im getting almost 10 degrees colder with them

@ bartx ya this board has seen over 575 noproblem already, but im gonna take my time today and push it hard, last night i shuold have tooken my time more. ill get an idle and load once the temps are done dropping. but im still gonna try the e6300 cause i know i can get more out of it. but ill try and do a run on the e6300 within a week or 2. i also have a celly #330. not sure how well itll clock. but its got a nice high multi, so we'll see what i can get on air first.

"**edit* run on the e8500 in a week or too^^

Best thing to do is first is to find out what your max FSB on air (low multi) is.

That way you aren't wasting too much time when it comes time to doing your DICE runs

You'll already know what kind of max you'll be able to do so you can start from there
