Default Check Out What Came In The Mail Today

Canada Post delivered my dry ice pots today Can't wait to use them, sadly there's only one dry ice place in town and its at the opposite end of the city. We're going to eventually be diceing a very special AM3 chip and hopefully a crapload of old am2 chips if I can get my hands on any. So far its just the AM3 chip and maybe an old 5200+

Thanks to Duniek for this awesome pot.

Very nice, can't wait to do this dude.

Yep. But, we are not diceing the 940, it's the "other one".

If we can't get our hands on the AM3 board soon, then we will just dice the 940 I guess.

Lol, I'll edit the post. You'll probably get the AM3 soon anyways.

Around 15 - 30 minutes depending on how hot the chip is.

that kind of sucks what is the point of going dry ice if you have to change very often? Its not cost efficient.

Well its' not meant for a permanent cooling solution more for benching. The idea is to get kickass overclocks, bench them and then put the processor back down for normal use.

This video should give you an idea, they used liquid nitrogen but its the same basic idea.

It's meant for suicide runs, not constant use

What they said ^

Dry Ice, Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Helium etc. are all used for seeing just how high you can go. They are not for constant use.
