Default good pot? use for i7?

Is this a nice pot http://www.ocbay.net/auction_details...ion_id=100431?

Bartx told me that he is not sure how well it will perform with an i7 system.

If you're planning bench with i7 this pot might be too weak to hold multi threaded benchmarks in good temps. But in the other hand, it's hard to get good pot for i7 for this price - be aware of that
why would that be?

I saw this in latest threads, I thought you meant a different kind of pot. Then I realized that i7 can't smoke pot yet. So it can't be that pot.

Lack of mass is my guess, the best pots will have a thick weighty base. You need that to hold temps, you don't want temperature fluctuations when benching like this.

If this is your first time that you are going to play with extreme cooling then yes. This pot will do the job. And because it is full copper you can easily sell it if there is a need.
