And this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=200337489602

yes i know theyre basically the same cpu's, one is an engineering sample though so i though i'de bid on it, and in the end i won it :]

Im going to use ASCeramic for tim and my sig rig mobo. Im also going to be D.icing my q6600 as well xD

This will probably take place sometime next week, will make updates when stuff arrives :]

BTW: are there any suggestions you guys have for a guys first dice run? Im going to be using acetone, this is ok right? <--- Suggestions would be helpfull :]

Use acetone. Period. There have been many discussions here about what to use. There are better things to use, but they come with problems and cost and inconvenience. So generally everyone uses acetone.

As for some suggestions, My post (#2) in this thread says all I can say:

By the way, I am going to try and get those erasers out to you today

Have you received these cpu's? I've bought recently P4 631. On air I've got this:

5380MHz @ 1.675V, Asus Commando vdrop & vcore modded
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=563007

I'm glad, because I haven't bought it as handpicked cpu. I've got one more good cpu, that's Celeron D347, which can do about 5400MHz @ 1.55V on the same mobo, but it's D1 rev (631 is D0) so it has higher TDP and runs 10-15C warmer that P4. Anyway, I achieved 7360MHz on this Celly on LN2, so I hope this P4 should do at least the same clock. Too bad, I haven't own dewar, because I've got a supply, which sells LN2 for 0.65$/l

And good luck with your dice run Feel free to ask, if you don't know something

Thanks Commando is one of the best boards which I ever had. Much better than previous - P5B Deluxe. I bought it little damaged - area on the back of socket was scratched, D347 & E6750 was working, but E8400 not. Quick consultation with guy, who works in Asus and he told me, that problably traces are damaged. I found one trace, which was cut, fixed with conductive ink and works fine I haven't tested that board under cold, I need to finish my phase change first

Eraser isn't necessary, if you can't wait, use only neoprene, for me works well And check, what your cpu can do on air
