Finally getting the ball rolling here.
Here's the Bloodrage waterblock off. Notice the connections to SB and Vregs. The provided LN2 pot base covers the copper sink as well as a large portion of the aluminum heatsink. ![]() Again, look at the heatpipe connections to SB and Vregs......got me thinking.... ![]() A few neked shots: ![]() ![]() Now it's time dress up in something nice. ![]() Painted and socket prep. ![]() I'm gonna keep heatpipes intact and prep everything accordingly. ![]() ![]() Don't forget the backside. Painted, with initial armaflex and eraser. One thing I like about the Bloodrage is the lack of pushpins. Don't worry, a sheet of neoprene is going over all that. ![]() I've never actually heard of anyone actually using the BR pot. Except for Sayaa during testing. Notice how short it is? ![]() I may regret it, but I wanted to try insulating SB and Vreg heatsinks as a single unit. After insulating everything except the last heatsink in the chain I tested with a few drops of LN2 in the pot. That last heatsink got icy cold real fast - just from the heatpipe connection. Rather than try to fight a losing battle with condensation, I just insulated the whole darn thing. Note that I made the NB pot taller with an "extension" of armaflex and neoprene. That, with a funnel, may work. Or not. We'll see. ![]() I wanted to be a LOT further along than this right now. But prepping up to this point has taken about 12-15 hours of labor.

Got a few more hours of work to finish CPU pot insulation and setting. I need a little more eraser and a few nick nacks. I've cleaned out 2 local artist supply stores already (I left a few squares out of politeness). Both of them actually got a little mad that that I was using "art" materials for non-art, which I found a little humorous. Especially when I glanced at what they considered "art".
Anyway, I might to a little trial tonight with my last few liters. Refilling the dewar tomorrow.
