Yep, four 5870's. CL3P20 has one of mine right now. He's putting it on roids.

I still have to get quadfire working well on this board. I hope it's drivers. I can get it to work, but it performs worse than trifire.

What kind of liquid tape are you using? I haven't seen that in a red can before.

I use "Star-Brite";

I think I'm gonna have to train one of my rugrats to help pour. We've made enough ice cream that they've got safety down.

I wish had something as funky 70'ish as "Star-Brite" liquid tape. I have to settle for this:

Your going to corrupt them young......Ice cream and before you know it they'll be bugging you about ram sub-timings..

Yeah thats a funky yellow can no doubt! You can get it in a lot of different colors to, the first time I saw anybody use it was a couple of years ago and he had it in clear. I love the stuff for proofing, I use it a lot for sealing layers of neoprene together for TEC block skirts also.

When are you going to fire it up? I don't want to miss all this GPU action...

It would be great if they could hurry up and learn about sub timings so they can teach me!

My first SSD arrived today (OCZ vertex 60gb) so I'll briefly put it back on water to get it dialed in. I've been using a pair of vraps for benching. One's dead and the other is dying fast - the time between corrupted OS/reformat/reinstalls is getting very short...I think the high PCIE frequencies from both the i7 920 benching and the E8600 3DMark01 attempts are taking their toll.

Anyway, I hope to get the CPU under DICE within a few days for testing and some trifire action on air. I don't think I'll freeze the GPUs until I get the mothership back from CL3P20.

Man I bet those high freq's tear up your formatting! Even with-out the high PCI-E clocks I've had to re-format quite a few times just from a high Mhz, all those cards are just adding fuel to the fire..

I'll be watching, you get that rig dialed in and there is no telling what kind of runs you can get with it...
