With that being said... how many of you iPhone owners would splurge for somewhere in the $14.99-$19.99 price range on an accessory that would raise the volume of your iPhone speaker by somewhere around 4-6x, increase the speaker clarity, and add a little bit to the size when the accessory is on.

Thanks for your input... wanna make sure there's a market for this thing. My end goal is to develop it, get it streamlined, distribute a few "test models" to make sure it all works properly and with no issues, and then market it to an accessory company for a chunk of change plus royalties.

I'm a construction foreman and i currently use a PDA, HP IPAQ 2495. I use it basically for entering daily,weekly tasks that happen on my jobsites. It works pretty good, but when i have multiple jobs, the little calendar / daily log gets filled up pretty quick and gets confusing at times. I basically only use the calendar/daily/weekly task function on the PDA. Do they have a electronic agenda book, calendar / daily task tablet that would be better than my PDA. My PDA is kinda small. I'm looking for either a better PDA calendar setup, or a tablet type electronic thing.



I basically enter items(daily tasks) onto a calendar so i can keep track of whats going on at my construction jobs.

and i also use microsoft project to setup my schedules, but this is all on paper.

Now to my questions. My Dad, my two brothers, and I all are on T-Mobile. I've been looking at the iPhone for the whole time it's been out, and I've decided I want one. The thing is of course, we have T-Mobile. So, I've looked into unlocking iPhone's so I can use them on other carriers.

1) If I buy an unlocked 3G S, can I use the 3G connectivity while on T-Mobile? If so, will I have to pay extra fees for the data?

2) What all can you do and not do with an unlocked iPhone that you would be able to do with a at&t iPhone?

Most of the time I go to wake my iPhone, the screen is pure white... won't let me see anything. Its been happening since yesterday morning. Most of the time when I wake/sleep it several times I can get the display to click on.

However, this morning its not being nearly as nice. Couldn't get it to click on for about 20 minutes. Eventually did a hard reset (press and hold both home and the sleep/wake button for 10 seconds) and now the display is on again. As soon as I made it sleep and tried to wake it, screen stays white again.

I've been told my LCD is dying pretty much, but the iPhone 3GS is only 4 months old. This should be covered under the manufacturer's parts warranty correct? I have the phone in an Otterbox Defender case, which is basically the most impact and waterproof case you can get for these phones.

Any insight as to what I might be walking into when I go to the local Apple Store? If they don't fix it, I might test their magnetic breakaway power cords when I rip all their iMacs off the wall and throw em through the plate glass windows.

Oh yes, and I've never unlocked or jailbreak or anything like that. Run it like its supposed to.
