Crud. Actually, Newegg lists it as in stock now, whereas it was OOS earlier. Would still like to know about aerocool.com though, they have some decent stuff at decent prices. Seems like knowing about a good lesser known e-tailer might be a good thing :)

Would a liquid cooling system using standard PC watercooling parts be suitable for providing cooling? The laser would not be required to run at 100% duty cycle, and also noise is a nonfactor because a machine like this would be used in a shop where hearing protection is already used.

It looks like condensation built up on the processor causing corrosion to form. This seems to have killed the processor but the motherboard is good. What can I use to completely seal the processor so condensation and corrosion doesn't happen again? Thanks.

Just for the record me and a friend are going to be doing this for fun and already know its expensive and may or may not be as efficient as other cooling techniques. =]

We just had a few questions in terms of how this may work and was hopping you guys can shed some knowledge =]

We wanted to use a radiator free version so have a pool of mineral oil with the components inside the oil but would it be okay to do this with out a pump and a raid to cool the oil itself? or would the oil exposed to the air dissipate air fast enough? (we're going to be using a old q6600 i have. =] )

also what components should be submerged? We wanted to do a wet bay and a dry bay (dry with hdd and cd drivie).

Hmm.. and i guess is there anything else we should be aware of in this build? just trying to get the most info we can..

Thanks for the help! =]
