When going into device manger it says under drivers: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I am currently using a razer tarantula keyboard, which works perfectly I must say, however there is one thing that continues to bug me:

Whenever I want to control iTunes through the keyboard's music side panel, I have to have the iTunes window open and selected. Is there any way to make a shortcut for my keyboard to not require me to alt-tab and maximize iTunes in order to control my music?

I've put 50 lbs worth of textbooks and weights and it does NOT flatten... my mouse always jumps around the screen because of these ripples/waves. I was wondering if going over the mousepad with a steam ironer is a good idea.. maybe put a shirt between the iron and mousepad in case it damages the pad?

I would also use the PS3 for Blu Ray playing.

In the mean time, I will have the TV hooked up to my PC as I already have some HD videos on here. Would it be a good idea to get a $60-100 BRD drive for my PC while I wait until I can afford a PS3/when GT5 comes out? Would it be better to wait and keep that money for a PS3?

The biggest factor in deciding for me will be the speed of the player. I have used a Sharp brand stand alone Blu Ray player before and it was very slow. It took forever to begin watching the movie, and even to read the disc to get to the menu. Will a PS3 or a PC drive be faster? Are all Blu Ray drives slow? The CD that came with the keyboard wont work on my pc, i get an error message saying "the programm was blocked due to compatability issues", so i decided to download the latest drivers instead.

I have tried downloading Microsoft Intelitype 6.3, 7.0 and 7.1 Beta and each installation gives me the same error message:

"setup could not install a required component: Miicrosoft Error Reporting. restart and try again (Error Code:1603)"

The keyboard works, so does the numpad, and the backlight knob also works, but the volume knob, media keys, calc button and macro keys don't.

Does anybody know what i can do to get this keyboard to function properly? As far as im aware all i need to do is to be able to install Intelitype, but nothing is working for me.

I pop open the tray insert disc and hear the gears start spinning as i wait expectantly. then the noise stops. the dvd has not been read.
i rummage around and find an external dvd drive and decide to give that a shot. same problem: i hear it start up and right as i get excited that it'll work it makes a soft beeping noise and the rpms drop drastically.

since this has happened on two separate dvd drives i should assume something is going on with the computer, right?

UPDATE: tried the internal DVD drive again and it now notices that there is a disc there...but thinks all discs are blank (CDs as well...and i've checked to make sure, they do in fact have data on them).
