I have problems running my XFX 4890 under stock clocks when I start getting into more graphic intense games.

At 35% fan speed, I can play CS:S, TF2, Cod4, Killing Floor type games

When I start getting to games like Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, I need to raise it to 40% or more

When I get to Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Crysis, I need 55% or more.

Anything under the fan speeds I've listed will result in a crash and will reboot my computer. My GPU sticks around 75-80C, so I'm guessing it's the memory that is overheating. What should I do to fix this, since anything over 36% fan speed is pretty noisy and annoying.

Please find below how my setup looks like :

I know it is not the best CFX setup out there but please believe me when I decided to buy this system CFX was not on my mind. I got a deal I could not refuse on both XXX cards and I bought them. As one can see from the screenshots, the space between cards is non-existent. One of my fans is making the eternal "plastick hitting something" noise. I am sure that this is a sign of fatigue and soon it will fail. In my view, I have two options (without changing my motherboard, of course) :

1. Send the card back to XFX, pray to get an identical one, and wait till the one I have will break. XFX decided to make 1 revision for the XXX version so, all of them will suffer from the same bug.
2. Buy aftermarket cooling. The problem here is that I need something efficient ... that will allow me to have a CFX setup.

Musashis are out of the question because they are too tall. One of the cards won't allow the second to enter the PCI-E slot. Will the Accelero Twin Turbo fit? Is there something else out there with an acceptable width that will allow me to have good cooling and a CFX setup?

Cheers lads.

I was looking over some threads and I couldn't find much on watercooling. One post I saw recommended getting http://www.crazypc.com/products/9363R.html those and using stock cooling for everything else. Would the stock sinks be sufficient for the rest of it. I have an HAF-932 case so there would be a big fan blowing directly on the cards to cool them. Also should I run a second look for these? Specs of my current water loop are in my sig, just a MCR320 rad, I'm not sure but I don't feel like it would be sufficient to cool an OC'd i7 and 3 OC'd 4890's. I appreciate any help!
