If not can anyone help me here as my temps are reaching 100 deg lately all of a sudden, was never like that before, cheers.

The 9600GSO while overclocked idled around 45C and loaded around 55C. This card that I'm using now idles around 52C with the fan at 60% and 80% is loud but I need to have it at 80% while gaming so my temps won't go over 65C.

I would like a new GPU Cooler and I've seen that a lot of people recommend the DuoOrb. I don't want to spend more then $50 on the cooler. Also I've never replaced a GPU Cooler and I was wondering, will I need extra heat sinks for the RAM on the card or does the DuoOrb come with any? Suggestions are welcome! Also a guide to how to change the heatsink/fan.

Right now it idles at 60C 41% fan speed and it loads at 88C  70% fan speed, this is at sig speeds (680/1466/1300). So I decided to put two 120mm Tacens Aura fans on my card in a line:
Does anyobody suggest a better way to cool my GTX 295?

my question is will games crash if the temperature of a component such as the graphic card gets to hot? and is this the issue (btw the fan is running at 40%?)

shouldn't the fan automatically set itself when temps get hotter or cooler?

Idle my GPU sits around 55c which I already think is high. The rig is my sig rig and I think that at the least, my case is a contributing factor to my problem. I have terrible air flow and right now I took the door off and placed a desk fan blowing directly into the case.

What I don't understand is why the GPU fan is shutting off at 70c every time. It works perfectly until I crank up a graphic intensive game (Dragon Age is turning it into a space heater).

Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks!

So far, my temps peek at about 80c and I begin to have problems while playing games. My idle temps are at about 40c to 52c(thats with windows on, running other applications- but not playing games.) The only way I can keep playing is if I remove the side panel, which btw has a 120mm Antec fan. I hate having to keep doing that because it makes my rig look so ghetto :-( lol- I have tried switching the fan, but my GPU temps remain the same. I also tried switching all three cards into different slot positons w/ different results. My cards run fine by themselves, and in a 2-way SLI configuration. Any input about this is prolem is greatly appreciated, thanks!
