Is there any games out there, preferable MMORPG. I tried a couple of games already, and it sure does lag. I was wondering if there are still games I could play on min. specs or something. I could run GTA San Andreas with the lowest specs & 640 x 600, I think it was..

We all know SecuROM really stinks bad, I came across this HUGE list of games that have it. In the list some games have a line through them, that means that SecuROM was removed by a patch they released.

Other than cheap action flick tricks of betrayal, there must be some other reasons for characters to do what they did.

For example, why did Price launch the nuke? And after he kept everyone in the dark and did it his team and sheperd are all fine with it?

I duno, though I checked my brain at the door, I'm trying to figure out the real outcome of the story. In addition, I'm speculating on what's next for the MW3 world.

- war hasn't ended
- sheperd died a hero in the eyes of the world
- makarov's still at large (though it would make historic acuracy if he's never found and killed, aka bin ladin)

since price launching the nuke framed russia, sure the US can go for an invasion. But then what? WWIII? Even if 141 gets Makarov, explains to US and Russia it was all just a big misunderstanding, the US will never back down and will still invade russia. Then what? they succeed, and let MW3 get banned in russia? People will be pissed!

And then what? even if they succeed they're going to install a puppet leader like in afganistan? THIS HSIT DON"T MAKE SENSE.

yeah the reaons why I didn't post on the official thread was after fruitlessly searching and then going through 7 pages I just said, screw it and created this one.

I'm angry. I understood the multiplayer was going to be hindered but man.. the single player's story is just ooouuut there!

I'm currently trying it out with SoftTH.

I followed a guide on where to put the files, and I followed a guide on what I need to make the .cfg file look like. Here's what it is set to right now:

My monitors are two 17" at 1440x900.
So if I were to do the math correctly, the resolution in game should be at 2880x900, and the resolution above (in the .cfg) should be 960x900.

What exactly am I doing wrong here?!

That one is supposedly corrected by adding -dxlevel 81 to the launcher settings (which I have done). Here are my launcher settings currently:

Hey. I wanted to find out what does FSX require to run with very high visual settings at high res? By high I mean 1920x1080+.

I just tested the system with FSX on my sig monitor and it was pretty choppy.

The sim is currently installed on a system with an AMD 2.6 X2 cpu (i think its a 5200+), 2 gigs of ram, and a 4850 GPU.

Eyes hurt after upgrade?

Have any of you experienced this? I just got back from a 2hr session of DOD:S and had everything on max and fps never dropped below 100. But now my eyes hurt. My old pc had 50-100fps with medium settings and stuff and my eyes never hurt.

Will my eyes hurt everytime I play?

I learned this from another member here, so I take no credit for this. I just thought I would put this out there.

This is an edit you can do to your config to show more detailed connection information.

I have done this online, you don't get banned by VAC or anything. It's nice to know who is the host, and how usually the highest scoring person is the host (o latency)

Navigate to the folder

"program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players"

Open the file config_mp.cfg in .txt

Use Ctrl + F to find "scoresping_interval" & "maxbars" (without "")

Change "scoresping_interval" from 100 to 20 and "maxbars" from 4 to 10 (10 is the max).

This means that each of the 10 bars represents 20ms, with full green being 20ms or lower, and 1 red being 200ms or higher.

What it looks like.

The host is immediately obvious, he's the guy with 0-20 ping (full green).

Frontlines sale; worth it?

Steam is now selling Frontlines: Fuel of War for $7. I was a little unsure of how good the game was, as I seemed to remember some kinda mediocre reviews of it before. Don't get me wrong, $7 isn't much, but I won't bother if I'm never going to play it.

For reference, I always thought Battlefield 2 was horrible from too many vehicles and very poor balancing, and have generally had a preference for more hands-on combat games like Team Fortress 2 and MW1. Does anyone think I might like Frontlines?

Once again terrible performance. :(

Yep, so I got MW2 the other day only to find out that my system won't run it on a nice and stable framerate. I'm getting an average of 30-40 fps in the game with highest settings and no AA. I turn shadows off and I get a 5 fps boost on average. My friend with a phenom 9950 and a 4870x2 said he's getting constant 75 fps with AA on 4x in game. My specs beat his in every way, and yet im getting worse fps. I would like to know what the problem is or at least get some help as to why I can hardly run it. Is my cpu the problem, or is it my gpu. Or is it simply the fact that nvidia and amd dont go together? thanks for any help :)

Darkfall players?

I bought Darkfall back in February but hadn't touched it since because it had very little production value. The animations and sounds were very bad and felt like playing Morrowind on the PS1 or something. With a free expansion next week I'm going to read up on what improvements they have made to the game. Are any of you Darkfall players? How has the game improved since its release? Combat (melee) felt waaay too clunky for my liking.

Ok i recently realised that youtube supported full 108p resoloution
So i thought i would upload some 1080p footage and upload it

So i recorded some MW2 gameplay using Fraps @ 1920 x 1080

THe files were like 3gb each so i then put them in windows movie maker
Selecte dpublish movie @ 1080p

It published but when its on youtube it is like letter boxed
