So I saw this on Gamefly used game sale. What version is better?

So, had a nostalgic moment over the weekend. I remember playing this mystery game on a Sega when I visited my aunt's house. It was a military game where you would have (I believe) a general, a bazooka, a gunner, a medic. I believe it was played in a backyard and was meant to be a fun animated military game not a serious shooting game. It was team vs. team not a play-through level type game.

Currently running win 7100 for the moment.
My rig will bench crysis and prime for hours, however I will experience reoccurring crashes in COD4, I'll be playing along and all of a sudden the screen will just go black and everything is unresponsive, have to hard restart. The weird thing is that this happens during graphically un-intensive parts as well as intensive parts. For example last time it occured inside the first building in the Charlie don't surf level---***? It also has happened when I use cheats to grenade spam creating a ton of particles. Even so neither would come close to what Crysis can do. So what could be the answer?

Trying to work out which console to get this on.

IGN AU gave it 8.8 on PS3 and IGN US gave it like 9.2 or something on PS3

They both gave it 9.2 for the 360

Has anyone seen it on both consoles and can give an honest option as to which is better? Or now of a site that has done a comparision?

PC is not an option - I dont play platform style games on PC prefer consoles for that.

I'd rather this not become a fanboy war if possible.

-Not very smart(in a tech sense, but a lot of the time in general)
-Loud and vulgar
-Using inferior technology

PC gamers are Elves:
-Fewer in number
-Overblown sense of superiority, bordering on racism
-Technologically superior
-Slow to action: they will just sit and talk among themselves about how something needs to be done, but never banding together and doing anything about it

Yo guys!

As you may already know, Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition came out a little while ago, and includes the game + all the expension packs.

I don't know if I should get it for 360 or PC... I played it a bit on the PC and was cool, but my couch is so much more comfortable:p

This said, I would like to know if I need a really big HDD on the Xbox to be able to play this ?

Finally, do you think it would be a good purchase ?

I guarantee that if you somehow connect PC and Console (Xbox, Playstation 3, etc) version of MW2 in multiplayer, players on PC would n00b every console player.
That is what I think.

MW2 worth it on 360?

So I don't think MW2 is going to end up being worth it on the PC like a lot of people basically because of the multiplayer issues. (I find it funny that that one IW guy said using a mouse was a custom feature, lol) Do you guys think that it's worth it on the 360 though? Also, does the PC version have better graphics like usual, or is it just a port? I don't have time to dig through all the threads in here, in fact, I probably won't have much time to play the game. lol

Well, I'm sick, need of meds, got nothing to do.. So while I sit here with a stomach ache enjoy my no bull-crap review. It's a opinion review, but aren't they all? After reading probably over 1,000 post on "OMG I GOT MW2" threads, here is what I gathered and from my own personal experience with the game.

Start off with the core game its self...

-Sound: Gun sounds are amazing, probably one of the most realistic sounds. The M4 just sounds so real, and so do the background music and game noise alike. MP you really don't get the true sounds, SP yes you do! Thanks Zimmer!

-GFX: This is tad touchy for me to step in... The GFX looks amazing, yet it is COD4 engine but they revamped it to make it look I think nice. They went with a more "sharp" clean look this time around, instead of COD4's bloomy HDR (MP_VACANT huge bloom/glow) GFX will please anyone with any GFX card, game runs smoothly. Now, if you think OMG CRYSIS GFX PWN REST SUCK, well keyword there, you SUCK my friend.

-IW.NET: Okay, Yes I play XBOX360, same crap for PC. IW.NET seems to me very good. It gets game fast when your alone and wanting to play, your in a game within 15secs from choosing your gametype. Being in a party of 6 friends last night on XBL, it goes a lot slower... Thats my only con. Maybe lag from Release day? Maybe just slow? Maybe a bug, who knows. But finding a game when we had 6 people in are party took a few mins.

-Lag: There is none, your connection sucks or the host just sucked. Either get a new connection, because yes there is laggy people and not always the host fault. If its laggy, then LEAVE and join another takes 10secs you lazy people. Period.

-Multiplayer: The game excels in MP, we all know this all CoD do. SP was only about 4 1/2 hrs from other reviews. In MP you are dumped with a TON A TON of options to customize your kit/class. Me, I love customize and neat things. EOTech + Thermal? HELLO IW marry me. Finally some cool attachments. Perks are outstanding, it is finally a fair balance of perks as well.

Example: CoD4 you had Ammo + Stopping P. + Deep Impact.
Now, you can easily go without extra Ammo as the game's are rather shorter. Now you can use more of those perks u never used in the past game. Now, Slight Of Hand, Stopping P + whatever you want, Deep Impact doesn't exist (sorry wall banging RPD losers)

Between 1-20 levels you are loaded with enough guns to last you the game, and you get all the "main" perks out of the way at 1-20. Past 30 ish, you get slower upgrades, and its more of a grind. Can't say really, only 28.

-Maps: Its a fair trade is all i am going to say. Some maps are a tad more confusing than others, some are more smaller than others... In a 6v6 TDM, some maps seem like your running those virtual legs a little bit more... But in a Ground War / CTF / DOM game its faster paced. Playing straight TDM gets boring faster in MW2 than it did on COD4. So just go play objective games, and work as a team. Is that hard? no...

-Campers: Yup, I said it. I know its only Day 2, and I know people are learning the maps. But dear me, do I ever and only get killed by campers. Camp TDM, Camp HQ, Camp DOM, better yet go camp S&D when you got to plant the bomb and time runs out... Yea, campers... Gotta hate. In the coming weeks/days it should die down in campers, once people get the feel of the game. Yet only took me an hr? (slow people...)

-SP: I WOULD really love to say its great, but haven't played it, yet everyone I know loves/loved it. It was a story that could only be told in CoD, with the action it gave them is what I was told.

Finally,

To end to all ends. Look you might of bashed the game because you were "cool" and jumping on that wagon with the rest, but the old saying, don't judge a book by its cover.

Yes there is clan support, called private matches. Use MIRC to get a pug together, its just a extra step or two you gotta take to do clan matches big deal. When I was CAL IM, it was #cod4pug, make a #mw2pug or find one. Spread it around and watch it grow like cod4pug did.

As you may have heard Australia does not have a R18+ rating for games, the only Western country to suffer this indignity.

This is due to one Attorny General of one state being against it. Each state has an Attorny General and all the other states are for the change.

These guys are meeting this week regarding this issue and opening the discussion up for national consideration.

I ask you, if you live in Australia and even if you dont go to the following like and send at email to your AG and let your voice be heard in this issue.
