Couple of things you didn't mention about the Sniper Rifles:
-They all do same damage, except M95 can shoot through heli\plane glass. (you mentioned the glass thing)
-M24 and L96A1 have same accuracy, they are both the most accurate guns in the game.
-It takes 2 hits to kill someone with ANY sniper rifle, unless of course if you get a headshot, which is very rare, unless you got uber skills ^_^

lol, i get head shots a lot.
and the L96 does more damage than the M24 and has smaller crosshairs.

Yea im a sniper and depend on getting headshots, if you don't get one your pretty much screwed because they run usually!
