My first FAQ so bear with me ;)
__________________How far can I push my fsb speeds without a PCI/AGP/PCIE lock? This is a question I hear alot on this forum, unfortunately not many people can give a decent answer. To work out the max fsb speed you can enter without the PCI/AGP/PCIE buses becoming unstable you do the following: Firstly the stock bus speed ( I will be using the pci bus as an example at stock speed of 33mhz ) 33 divided by the stock fsb ( I will be using 200mhz as an example ) 200 = 0.165 With this you can now work out the max fsb you can push. Im using 38mhz as the absolute max the pci bus speed should be pushed ( according to THE overclocking guide by DeathONator ) . So.... 38 divided by 0.165 = 230.30303mhz reccuring. And if you dont know how that can equate to a cpu's core clock speed: 230 X 10 ( insert multiplier being used here, I will use 10 as an example ) = 2300mhz / 2.3ghz So if you have different values from the one's i have used just change them :) Also I can not say that this is the absolute max speed you can get, as always it will differ slightly for everyone. If you see anything wrong with this let me know :) Mootin

Whoa whoa whoa wack job.... Yes you can overclock, now no more spamming a FAQ, post your question in a thread...
__________________Nice FAQ BTW Mootin. You should however point out that while the PCI, AGP, and PCI-X bus speeds are the same across different motherboards, the FSB will change, so your multiplier may be higher than .165

thanks :)
but i dont get what you mean, the .165 is from the stock speed of the bus your using divided by the stock fsb , not the multi :) obviously yeh if you have different stock speeds you will have to change the maths :)
