Hey all and welcome to my 3rd FAQ.
__________________In this one I am going to explain how to set up Motherboard Monitor(MBM) to show a real time temperature + voltage figure. First off all you will need the main Motherboard Monitor(which I refer to as MBM for the rest of this FAQ)application. Here is the link to the MBM Main Application Motherboard Monitor 5.3.7.0 Once you have downloaded and installed the app you will get the Setup screen. ![]() Navigate through the pages using next on the diolog box until you get to this screen. ![]() Once you get to this screen navigate through the list (give its 20 seconds to fully load all the motherboards) untill you see your motherboard manufactor and then choose the specific model of motherboard you have. NOTE - If your motherboard isnt shown send me a PM with all the infomation and I will be happy to find a setup for you or make you a custom file) After this is done click next and Choose either of the temperature units to display (its makes no difference) Once the setup screen has dissapeared you should restart your computer. Once Windows restarts you will see this new shortcut for MBM on you desktop, open it. You will see the MBM Splashbox appear for a second and then a Icon will appear in the taskbar with some sort of unit in it Right click this icon and choose settings Now to the fun stuff With the settings box open navigate to the Tray and OSD tab on the left. You will see three tabs appear on the top. These are System Tray OSD Settings OSD Script Open the OSD Settings tab if you havent allready. Here you will see all the avalable options. The main options we are using are Enable Hotkey, OSD Hotkey and the OSD Hotkey Delay Tick the Enable Hotkey option and the scroll down to OSD Hotkey - Choose a hotkey that is easy for you to remember. For this FAQ I used Crtl + M You can also play around with the OSD screen position if you want :p Now Choose a Time Delay for the OSD to show (I used "0" As it means I just press the hotkey again and it disapears) Now We can move on to the best part - The custom OSD Settings :D Here is a copy of my custom settings that I use Quote:
This shows all the important info such as Uptime, Memory info, CPU Temps Etc. Copy this into the OSD Script box and overwrite any that is there. Now press Apply, wait a few seconds, close the MBM box and Press your desired hotkey. If you have done it right you should see something like this. ![]() Now you can play around with the font options and screen position until you are happy. Thats it - Your done - Give yourself a pat on the back :p Thanks for reading my 3rd FAQ and remeber if you have any questions then just PM me with your motherboard Info :)
