If you can at all find a piece of plate glass,it is a lot flatter and has less irregularities than window glass. You might also try using valve grinding compounds of varius grits, from coarse to fine. It comes in tubes at any auto supply, and is a semi-liquid.I used to shave down motorcycle heads this way, they would turn out pretty nice. You load your wet&dry paper with it,don't just put it on your glass. If you want to get it down real slick at the last use real fine emory cloth and kerosene..Probably not nessesary though...

I can't get mine to get shiny...should I be pressing hard or soft, and, I'm using 2000 grit paper, which has now been worn way down...every time I start to try and get it shiny, it just looks like scratches and crap..
I'm practicing on my ThermalTake CPU and VGA water blocks.. Here it is: ![]() Here are others ![]() ![]() Can you guess what show is that from? Those are all pics of the block showing the scratches, the one showing the TV in the reflection has scratches, just like the one above it, I took them pics back to back
