and regedit. msconfig gives you annoying messages after you use it :\

You can shut explorer.exe down. I do it at start up. That way I decide what I want to open this boot =)
I also shut explorer.exe down if I'm doing a lot and playing warcraft, every last bit counts on a 2800+ lol..

umm msconfig works just fine in XP pro or home if you run XP then try it your self

blackviper.com was down and for a while MajorGeeks carried the XP mewsage you seek for him. I was back up reciently but it's gone again! It's also under construction at blkviper.com too!!!

It also works using regedit but then you have to be very carefull not to mess things up.
