ok this tweak is the most important of all this will allow you to gain tamindious boot speeds gte a decent amount of cpu usage and ram usage back now listen up and pay attention when doing this one wrong incorrect progrom removal can cause unstable widows and require new window copy. now please if you are not too great with programming dont try this have some one else do if possible not trying to offend any one just looking out for ya!!!! love to all ocers
__________________ok well start with basics tip 1 in bios disable any boot option not needed. first cdrom second hard drive if possible. remove 3rd or 4th boot and floppy boot if possible. also select the hard drive with you os (operating system) as your first boot. tip 2 if possible remove walpaper and keep all icons off of desktop only leave 1 if possible. this is a big boost for your ram and cpu. tip 3 well every one but you find windows sound annoying but put a blitz on the boot up quarter back by turning off these lame window sounds. a)go to control panel b) select dounds and audio devices c) select sound tabs where it says sound scheme click no sounds you see a little boot improvement enjoy tip 4 lets disable windowsstart up screen to shave 2 or 3 second off that boot up. a)click start run and type MSCONFIG b) now click the boot.ini tab c)under boot options check the NOGUIBOOT AND CLICK APPLY AND RESTART __________________

it takes mine 38 seconds to boot. Are you really that speed hungry? :)

I don't know, I think I'd take the slower boot times solely for my wallpaper and icons and the fact that my OS is garunteed operational on startup. But hey, more power to ya man!
