How to: Flash my system/video bios without a floppy drive?

Here is what you need:
#1 Windows 98cd (or any dos bootable cd with dos cd drivers) #2 CD Writer #3 CD-R #4 BIOS file to be flashed #5 DOS flash utility 1st: write the bios file and flash utility to the cd-r 2nd: boot the computer with cdrom suport from the 98cd (or any dos bootable cd with dos cd drivers) 3rd: put the cd-r in the drive and open the flash utility example: (D:\awdflash.exe) Last edited by BFRD : 04-19-06 at 02:12 PM |
