I was thinking one day about that taking like a sticky note cutting it up to look like crosshairs take out scout and mark where they join and using that for scopless kills.

well if anyone (like myself) plays competitive i would not use this during league play, i have never seen anything stating that this cvar is illegal, but you never know with the leagues these days, they think anyone good that isnt a recognized name is hacking if you shoot through a wall :\

Putting a sticker or mark on the screen will get you nowhere with a scout or awp. The accuracy change between scope and no scope is pretty drastic. Try pulling that trick on a wall. Fire off a shot as a marker and then line up your improvised crosshairs at ten feet and fire away. You wont hit the spot in a million years.

If you try the sticker with an AWP you will have to stay still for even if you had the scope on and you moved just a hair miss! But when I use the Scout I am always doing strafing headshots so I think it would work excellent with the scout!

hee hee hoo hoo, What i like to do is always walk around with my gun at about chest level, if i have an ak at a distance i crouch or hold strafe as i am going places so i move slower and the crosshair is always at chest level :) Always shoot bursts, but deagle pwns all guns big time. 33 dmg one hit lol

But with the AWP you don't even really have to be accurate....it's a freakin instant kill...

Hmm. I just tried it, and while it does help line up shots better, it's hard to get used to not seeing the recoil affect the crosshairs. i used to base my shot timing solely on watching how far apart the crosshairs grew apart from one another, now I guess I gotta ear it. =/

I think it's worth it though. =D Nice tip.
