Well, ive finally found a new FAQ to write after WEEKS of trying to figure this out, i KNOW there are other people out there besides me that have had this problem:

Boot from CD:

1. FD (1.44MB)

Starting Caldera DR DOS....

EMM386: Warning! Address line A20 already enabled

Well id like to thank everyone that helped me try to solve this problem, but the real person that helped me was Mr Smiley, so i give him credit for this as well.

The simple solution is this: DONT USE NERO TO BURN THE ISO! it uses caldera dos for its bootable CD image for some odd reason.

I suggest using this program that Mr Smiley reccomended to me: burnatonce which can be found at:

http://www.burnatonce.com/index.htm?downloads

if you want to burn data and music cds, windows internal burner works just fine! but if anyone gets any problems with nero, this is the solution, for some reason it also has some kind of conflict with the A64s, so hopefully this saves a lot of people from frustration!

im on x64 right now and it runs smoothly :). have fun!

I encountered a similar problem with slipstreaming service packs in XP... used ISOBuster and ripped the bootloader. I'm assuming this will work with any XP64 disk too...?

Hey, you know, some people might not even know if their processor is 64 bit or not and they will still burn a x64 image to cd and try to install it lol....

Nero worked just fine for me... That's what I'm using now :/
