Yes Pirating is illegal and wrong, no one should take part in it. I am not suggesting that you break any laws. Before doing anything that might seem the least bit wrong you should do research and find out if it is illegal and what the punishment is. I, along with Overclock.net, do not recommend or support Pirated Music/Movies/Games/Programs or any other similar activity. With that said it is still your decision, make it a good one.

thats what i do infact i have started a really profitable bussiness upgrading and fixing peoples computers. most of the time if i dont have a tool for the project at hand then they will pay for it so the job can be done. and then i have a new tool and profit, or i can return the tool as "defective" or "not needed" and get even more money from it. also with the spare parts as well, most people that only do basics on the comp say want a "video card" but dont need a 300-600 dollar card you have an old one from a few projects ago that you got paid to take, and now you can sell it and install it for ,ore money. varry good FAQ.

All I have to say is enjoy your jail time if you crack and hack without the full understanding of what you do.

Just ask the 7yr old that was busted for downloading songs.

How in the world do they find you anyways, like if you pirate a movie, or download songs, or what ever? I know alot of people who do that, and never got caught. It just doesn't seem to me like it is very likely to get caught. And why can't the governmet just like "kill" all the downloading things, like kazaa, and limewire, and edonky, and all that jazz?

you get caught because your ip is seen by the people you are downloading from or the people you are uploading to and they complain to your isp which then releaqses your personal info

Dude, I have to say that is not quite a legit thing. In the sense that you will end up paying something, or have your credit card info stolen, etc. I advise EVERYONE to stay away from it.

Technically, those programs cannot be "removed," because they are in fact not illegal. What is illegal, is what people use those programs for. i.e. downloading music, programs, movies. The basic idea for those programs is you can share music with people that YOU have the rights to. If the person who owns the rights to the said material, they can do what they want with it, including sharing it on the internet. It just so happens that one is able to rip a cd, and then share that cd on the internet which they DO NOT own the rights to, so what that said person is doing is illegal. It does not necessarlily make the program illegal, just the people using it. Hope that clears things up. And please note, this is a FAQ, not a thread.
