dont have a camera lol, i did it to my friend's cam. The guy is a f'in rich boy - 50$ pocket money a day. Had an old stylepix 2100 lying around, and we modded it. Images are bright as day, but monocolor. Very good quality still though. Now go and read my splinter cell phone guide when the mod aproves it, it PWNS!

If u reverse the mod, yes, but with the mod, all colors will have a tint of infrared to them.

Ill explain then. The sun emits many kinds of energy, one of them is light that we can see. Thats why we see stuff in the day. But it also emits infrred light - light with a frequency just below what we can see - meaning we cant see it. In teh camera, the sensor matrix can however, and it shows up on the pic in colours we can see. So they put an ir filter on the lens so that irlight is reflected, and doesnt get seen by the sensor matrix in the camera, and therefore doesnt show up. You can c in the dark, because really ur filling the dark with light, but light that your eye cant see. The camera, WITHOUT the ir filter however can. And does. Therefore so do you on the screen. Btw, people you actually will see in multicolour in day light, my bad. U'll c a regular picture, which will look a wee bit forked up with a small hint of greenish (opposite of infrared). Heck theres another faq....Oh, btw, thts if you dot put the negatives in.

4 infrared LCD's, how much does that set one back ?

Pics would be nice, also if the actual process of making it was spaced out a bit more in steps, would make it easier to read :p nice work.
