I believe IDE RAID0 is similar, but you'll need to connect the disks to different IDE ports, both as master (NO master/slave configurations...)

So I connect each drive up directly to the mobo and not use a jumper. I'm a little confused. If anyone could come up with a basic diagram that would be great! Thanks!!

When I format my RAID0 array using the standard(NOT quick) NTFS option, it only takes about 10 or 12 seconds to complete the formatting process. I have 240Gigs (120G X 2). That's not right is it? Shouldn't it take longer than that?

I think it should take longer Fry. It took me several minutes with a 70 gig IDE drive.. I'm not an expert though

Great FAQ. I will use eventually when I get 2 sata drives... Rep+

On some RAID chips it is. I know nVidia RAID can run with all 4 IDE drives (Which means Slave+Master can be used)
