I, like many people, have had trouble getting the dual core folding up and running. Once I figured it out, I decided to make a FAQ (thanks to The Duke for the suggetion). So, I am going to tell you from sratch so there is no confusion:

it doesn't come up with advanced options for me to select team name... any ideas?

The team name is not a advanced option. Team name is the 2nd option when you run the program. You can edit your FAH core option by making a shortcut for the program. Then you right click on it and go to properties. There where it says shortcut to add " -config"
Remember to leave a space before the -config.

Note that if you choose to run a client as a service, it will appear in the windows tasks with the owner as SYSTEM. It will run automatically and you do not need to start it on your own. In my experience, running as a service has less errors, less hassle, and fewer lost WU's.
