i dont know , well the settings was found on the internet , but if you want to try it out , change it to dx9 then .. :P let me know if it works ..

I do know that changing it from dx9 to dx8.1 in css makes a diiffrence in like my old fx 5500 because the hardware on my card supported dx9 but the card itself didnt so changing it to dx8.1 gave me less lagg that was in source though.

All the FX 5 series doesn't support DX9 very well, so you REALLY want it to run either DX81 or DX80.

Dude everyone should put a diff heapsize.

Usually for heapsize you put like half your amount of RAM.
ex:

-heapsize 262144 for 512mb of RAM
-heapsize 524288 for 1024mb of RAM
-heapsize 1048576 for 2048mb of RAM
