The dock is part of "objectdock" by stardock. THe icons...i never use my start menu for icons (deleted ages ago) so i'll hceck it out. But i'm pretty sure they worked.

Is the 1st one suppose to take for ever to install? It seems stuck or froze but task manager says its running, whats the deal?

The first one does take AGES to install...

As for the misaligned menus, you have to go through th registry and change some of the values. But, I just reinstalled and it worked.

I'd like to appologize ahead of time for saying this, but critism needs to be said.

You forgot the counterpart to windows blinds! Also good, if not a better manager of styles, themes, boot screens, screensavers, icons, etc!

STYLE XP!!!! FTW!!!

And! Not only that, but there ARE OTHER THEMES OUT THERE that have aero glass and similar! All variably different of course, but alot are installer base, so watch out for nasty little viruses, and spyware!

P.S. Don't "point out" that the tutorial was made late, when in fact you did this in June! That to me isn't late, just shockingly mis-giving information! There's more out there! wincustomize.com, and various others are out there! .msstyles files are what style xp usually works with and are easy to install. I dl'ded 200 once for the fun of it, and imported them all, now I can cycle through them all on each boot up (different theme each time if I want to), though the boot up might be "slower" because i'm changing it on boot, it looks cooler to have it random. :)

Word of advice, research!!!! There's more to it then just what you say! It's like saying there's only the grape lolipop when there's orange, lemon, lime, black berry, cherry, strawberry, rasberry, etc!!!!!! And more!!!!

Respectfully I appologize again if this seems like a "hate post" but I am trying to use constructive critism, and I hope you can respect that.

Small word of advice... if you want to give constructive criticism, please do not use that many exclamation points, and use a somewhat friendlier tone.

Err... where did you read that in the FAQ? I must be missing something. He never said that the tutotial was made 'late'? And I don't really get the piont here... must be me.

The FAQ is made several months ago, and possibly themes were added/have changed. It's probably a good idea to edit the FAQ so that's up to date with the major currently available skins, etc.

With respects to you Chozart, I knew that already, !!!'s can be a bit "LOUD" to people, however I felt I needed to get my point accross, especially since various people had "long install times" when i've found other's that installed instantly or within a mere few seconds, and similar, with the proper research.

Hey Le_Loup. Thanks for the info. But having never used StyleXP I can't comment on its pros and cons so I decided not to include it. This FAQ is in no way inclusive, it merely gives 3 options.

I didn't specifically intend to write the thesis in this so I didn't spend my life researching. I happened to have used these three programs so I decided to comment on them.

Thanks for the critical post and the feedback.

I think the Vista Tranformation pack is the best. It is the most complete theme pack I've ever used
