Welcome to the PS3 OG's main page! We are a dedicated and competitive group of folders interested in using Playstation 3 Cell technology to progress cancer research. All work goes to the benefit of team 37726.

We strive to keep all activity public as an "open forum". PMs should only be made under extreme circumstances or if interested in joining.

Future plans are arranged to integrate the team in PS3 Home (when it is released) and the general Playstation Network, as well as gaming.

General Information

Each PS3 counts as one core. You can only have up to a maximum of three cores folding per team member. Core priority will be given to PS3's, and then divided up between CPU's and GPU's. Check Taeric's Guide for information on Folding Team rules. Remember to use the SMP client if you are flding on a multi-core processor!

Currently (3) members are needed! Please check the eligibility requirements if you are interested in joining. PM me if you fulfill these requirements and I promise to get you situated. All member slots are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Requirements

To join PS3 cell you must have at least one Playstation 3 console that you are willing to dedicate at least 3/4 of the day to folding.

Other Notes

If a member will not be able to participate, it is that person's responsibility to make that known in the thread. Exceptions will be made. If a user fails to make notice and cannot be contacted, a 10 day grace period will be offered before a move to drop is made.

Again, it is acceptable to fold with a CPU or GPU ore as well alongside your PS3, however, priority will be given to PS3 cores.

I'm going to stop folding advanced for a few days..
Recently in advanced mode I have been getting 10-12hr WUs that net only 300-340 pts.
At least in normal I would get 7.5hr WUs.

Experiment with the results. It seems like every once in a while I will get a good show under Advanced Mode..hmm
