hey guys, both of you have quads, if you get into folding, make sure you run 2 instances of win smp. you will climb up the charts that much faster! hey yanis7777 here is your guide:http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...need-know.html. if you guys need any help getting started let us know!

To: gibsonnova74: Man thanks for the help...i have a couple (well more..) of questions..i would be grateful if you helped:
1) I have not installed the console but it is running on my desktop instead...is that OK? 2) It is running and says completed 4000 out of 400000 then 8000 out of 400000 etc. When is it going to be finished dude? 3) Should i run another instance on top of it at the same time? 4) When should i post my name on the 37726 group? Thanks in advance fella!

(1)download this version:Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008 SMP client console version 5.91
you'll get the most out of that quad. (2) if you want to see how long a w/u is going to take, points etc,etc, download fahmon(just google it, easy to find) you have to do alittle configuring, but we can walk you though it) (3)here is a thread i posted, alittle walk though for running 2 instances of win smp:http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...ion-while.html (4) post your name when you see that you are in the top 1000 folders. then you get your little icon! like i said, we're all here to help, expecially when it comes to the cause! if you have questions or need help, just give a hollar!

ok i need to configure my folding@home console and i cannot find the guide i used yesterday...can someone help pls? (the configuration with username, folding team, use proxy etc questions)
