hey bro, i dont know if you know this or not, if your on a team your only allowed 2 cores, you will have to only use 2 of your 4 on that quad.

they put limits on the teams to make it fair. it gives the guys who are running duo a chance to compete, they wouldn't stand a chance up against quads. so the maximum # of cores per team is 8, 2 cores per team member. if one of the team members is running a single core cpu, then you can compinsate by running 3 cores on your quad. 3 cores is the maximum # that any one teammate can use.

hmm, I guess if that is the case then, I shall just let my 2 quads run without a team.

hey, are you getting the most out of those quads, running dual instances of win smp, or the Vmware?

Whether you choose to do so in a Sub-Team or not it is up to you. In the end we are all part of Team #37726 and the cause is all the same.
Sub-Teams within 37726, motivates dedicated folders to work together (in a group of four) and it is also a nice way to promote friendly community competition. The dedication folders have to their Sub-Team is displayed through their results at the end of each month; hence, bragging rights given to the winning Sub-Team ![]()

Running dual instances of Ubuntu in Vmware on both rigs, rapidly approaching 100K in 2 months
