EDIT: Your PPD actually will have you passing Shaj, so maybe ~30 if everything pans out correctly?

The xp setup shows no drives not even the vista partition. When I run vista everything is how it should be. Disk manager shows me that the shrink worked properly. I'm going to try a different xp cd. I'm sure it will come to me. I haven't had a problem until now. I think that it might have some thing to do with the gateway laptop. I'll check there site and get back to you....

So I went to the gateway site to look up the specs for the laptop it has a sata drive. I said ah hah!
If you have a sata drive and you are going to install an OS on it you will need to press F6 and load the sata drivers in order to see the allocated space.

I should have checked to see what type of drive that it had before. Oh well...

So now my problem is getting a floppy drive for the laptop.

How was everyone July 4th weekend? Mine was exhausting but great.

Let's see, barbecue on friday, inch thick as large as my hand (my hand is big LBN ), spent the afternoon waxing my car, making it all nice and neat (picture below). I'm proud of it, doesn't make them girls turn their heads when I'm cruising by like buick's though. Cruised around town and watch them fireworks. It was nice. I was able to take a picture of this one neighbor was firing it. Pork chops on Saturday and worked a bit more on the car. Same chores through Sunday, played some tennis. My wrist and upper legs are so sore right now.

Sounds like you had a good weekend Shaj. My July 4 consisted mainly of sitting around watching Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-Fi and then tuning in for the Boston Pops Concert/fireworks display at night.
