you are still using arch?
the made a new ubuntu distro to work around some of the errors people were having with the arch distro.
try the new ubuntu one, works great for me.

Are you guys getting major gains from using Arch/Ubuntu? I don't see the benefit/hassle reward at all...

WinSMP w/ affinity changer churns out the WU's.

well i jumped on ship with vmware a few months ago, before i heard anything about the affinity changer giving similar results and just like it, its also forcing me to learn some linux
and the server2beta is really nice and discrete.

Nope. I never have had a problem in about a year using Arch.
Keep my spot for now. I won't be folding full blown for a while. I am not really in control of my own power bill in my current living situation, and I have to keep somewhat of a 'low profile' in that regards.
