Processor is A64 3000+, I saw in your thread that the GPU is going to be a 7600GT (all that sounds good), but no clue about the HDD and PSU..?

3200+ (their only £4 more than a 3000+ so why not )
Leadtec 7600GT
Antec SP 500w (posibly)
80Gb Seagate SATA

Hey, Conroe is going to be released before you're going to buy your new rig....
You'll be able to buy an even better CPU by then!
3500+ is pretty cheap now, it'll probably be in your budget soon (or maybe a X2? 50% price cut is expected..)

BTW, gravity may have a third rig folding (P4 1.8GHz).

My mums just bought a new car and gave me her old one, so whatever i sell it for is mine

And a mate of mine has just got 2 7900GT's and gave me his 7800GT for a £100, bargain!

Sooo i think i might get the 3700+ (1mb cache) instead.

And a car? just don't spend it all at once
So, 3700+, Antec SP 500W, 80Gig SATA (or you can get a bigger drive with the money? or go RAID0!).... what about that memory? If you're planning to make that San Diego sweat, you better get a good set of sticks.

So how soon can you get that rig together (all this cash is accelerating stuff, right?) but waiting for AMD's price cut is still a good idea .


EDIT: I'm going to buy a PSU tomorrow, because I suspect that my current (crappy) one is the component that doesn't let me boot with everything overclocked.
BTW, my rig is working on a 50000 frame WU

Im working on a 10,000 WU and should be ready in 7 or so days, i have 2 under my belt at the moment

What are the timings on that Geil? you wouldn't want it to limit your overclocking that 3700+ of yours

BTW, what are the rigs that are folding under your name? I gotta update the team list on the first post...

Geil timings are 2.5/3/3/6, i dont mind running a small divider.

At the moment the P3 550mhz is folding, my new rig should be running in a week or two.

Oh ok, if you're mobo has enough different dividers (my cheap one has very few).
I thought you meant you were doing 2 WUs at the moment on 2 different computers, which is why I asked .

I'm going to buy a new PSU this Thursday I hope (was supposed to get one last week). And I also hope it's what's making my computer hang when I overclock everything.

And orange, anything you wanna share with us? you seem rather silent in this enterprise ... so does gravity, but I see him every few days or so.
