need a little bit of help cuz im stumped..i can find my way around inside the pc but while i had the side off the case somehow my big ol' artic cooler heatsink got hit so the fan stop for a second..all is well except now the big ol' thing shakes the whole case and it sounds like something bads bout to happen when this thing is going full force..i cant figure out what got out of whack! do i need to just take it off and put it on again or did the fan itself get all out of whack? when i say its shaking the pc i mean it vibrates really loud and sounds like somethins gonna come off..very weird

thanks for any help

Take it off, inspect it and then reseat if nothing seems to be wrong. If it continues, then yep, you have probably bent the wheel out of whack somehow. Don't forget your AS5

somehow you got the fan off balanced, either the blade is fractured, or broken, or you bent the shaft. Like everyone else said.

You just have a flimsy case. Buy a more sturdy one.

i don't beleive you would have to purchase an entirely new CPU HSF, simply a new fan for it...maybe do a nice ghetto mod with a 120CFM 12cm fan and some zip ties?
