Just for kicks, what case are you using? The memory cooler will work fine, but I'm a little curious what your case cooling is,usually there is no need for dedicated mem cooler unless your doing some real heavy overclocking.Reason I ask is some better case cooling might do you better for your whole system, not just your memory, especially if you plan on overclocking your cpu and onboard graphics.

Guess im lucky that ive never had a hot stick of ram other than my old DDR OCZ platinums. My DDR3 stuff is never hot at all.

currently my computer lies on my desk, as i'm reseating the cpu and stuff,
so i have better access.
i directed a 120mm fan towards the dimms, so that it pushes through between the dimms,
result: better touchable, but still very hot, when running prime for like 30min.
and this is more active cooling, than a case airflow.
so the rams definately suck.

It's normal for memory to run hot, and they can easily take 90c. If the memory voltage is at 1.6v you don't even need additional cooling over the memory.
