I can't seem to get the dust just between the fins. I tried cotton, q tips (doesn't fit) sprayed half a can of compressed air... and nothing. Tried vacuum but still nothing. Only thing I have left to do is dip it in water but I am sure that is not right or good for it.

Any cheap way of cleaning this thing?

If you can, maybe try some higher pressure water like from a hose. Just dipping it in water wont get the dust out from my experience. It just stayed there and then dried on even harder.

Sometimes featherdusters (the non feathered variety) can get into the spaces between a radiators fins. If you don't have one don't worry. Since the prolimatech megahalem is not comprised of metals that can corrode or easily tarnish it is perfectly safe to rinse its fins under a tap.

I would not use the dishwasher too risky with the fins since they could bend. I just take a inflatable mattress pump and uses like compressed air.
