When I get my computer back together (had to send off my mobo for a B3 revision) then I will test my gpu using furmark to see how it compares and let you know if I think that is an equivilant submission.
in the meantime if you want to provide the same screenshot but using furmark instead of OCCT that's fine, just remember you have to be at least 15 minutes in.

Can I join the club? I've got an XFX 6850 Black Edition which I overclocked to 875MHz Core Clock and 1230MHz Memory Clock.

What version of Afterburner are you using? I'm confused because mine keep crashing after a week or so :S

DirectX Update

Download that, it will check for missing DirectX DLL's and will install them.
After you do that the error wont happen again.

I need some help overclocking my card.. Since in the OP you mentioned most people see only a small (if any) gain in performance above 950/1150 clocks, I'd like to hit that since I'm so close. Currently I'm at 930/1120, and if I go to 940 core after about 6 minutes in GPU tool can detect errors. Once I get to 950/1150 and OCCT doesn't detect errors for 15 minutes or so I'll gladly get what I need to get to post proof to join.

So, do I need to add some core voltage to get past 930/1120? My MSI AB isn't giving me the option to control my voltage, even with unofficial overclocking mode enabled (I followed the instructions in the guide of how to OC your ATI/AMD card, but couldn't figure out how to get voltage control, so I'm at stock voltage at the moment).

I'm using msi afterburner 2.1.0 , go into settings and tick the box unlock voltage control.
Mine is currently set to 1256 mV with a core clock of 975 and a memory clock of 1200
You will have to increase the voltage to get past 930 by the sounds of things.
Good to see there are still people reading this post.
