My card is overheating, I need to open the side panel to fix the problem, the thing is I have 3 fans in the comp.

When I play CS:S the game freeze like an old NES

can it be because the box is too small ?

X1900 overheating? Those things can handle insane temps (up to like 100C). You should be deaf from the stock fan also by now (if you have stock).

You sure it's the video card overheating and not a PSU crapping out or so?

Sure it's not some driver issue? Did you re-install drivers? What ARE your temps?

I would suspect the PSU (this one draws more power than the regular X1900). It might be just too much for it.

Honestly, you don't hear often about X1900's overheating, since those guys can take a beating and the stock cooler is capable to handle it.

maybe I didn't used the driver cleaner tools correctly...

but anyway, I have to reformat my comp because I got a bad virus today, I never seen such an anoying virus...I can't use my USB ports lol...and the worst is my comp is telling me that a virus is interfering my usb ports...

well anyway, i'll come back with some news
