I have a Gigabyte 7870 overclocked to 1200/1450 at the moment. At what overclock would I start to match a 7950 in performance?

Run 3dmark 11 and post your score (graphics score is the most important one...)

I have the same GPU. biggrin.gif well....... one of them is the same, the other is a 7870 Tahiti LE

I think you will have already surpassed an 800Mhz clocked 7950, but clock for clock the Pitcairn 7870 is about 30% slower.

Is that what you wanted? Never used 3dmark11 before.

I am a bit late with my response, bu with that overclock you have already surpassed not only a stock 7950, but a factory OCd HD7950, pretty nice smile.gif

Here´s my 3dm11 score with a factory OC MSI TFIII 7950 (880/1250)

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6870013, 8297 graphics score.

I'm far more late than you were, sorry about that... life and all that got busy. If you happen to read this again, thanks so much for your help and anyone else who posted in this thread.
