Is graphing the FRAPS frametime the closest we have to something like FCAT? Without using high speed cameras and frame overlays?

I was able to get a really cheap 7970 for $295, and ive been able to Crossfire them running at 1125/1575 which is pretty good..but wondering how i can compare frametime/variance vs my single Matrix.

I guess using FRAPS for both would be a more apples to apples comparison?

Fraps works quite well, also, Razer Game Booster has an FPS function. Fraps isn't free (the FPS counter is however), and Razer's Game Booster is free as well.
