Ya i was kinda worried about that, especially in a game like wow ....sonofa! This is why i ask such questions, most people just look at FPS benchmarks but there is a lot more involved when selecting a GPU!

Not gonna make a decision yet, gonna leave this thread open and hopefully hear from more people : )

The MSI TFIII 7950 has been the best card I've ever owned on drivers 13.2 and up. Almost all the problems have been ironed out from that point on. I just got a 7970 to crossfire with the 7950 and it is so smooth. Running it with the latest beta drivers that include the crossfire frame pacing. Definitely an improvement from my old 6850 crossfire setup. If you have a issue with ULPS (Ultra Low Power State) it takes 5 seconds to disable in the registry.

It's a great card, stop trying to find a problem. Just buy and enjoy thumb.gif

Just buy a 780ti when it comes out if you want to stay Nvidia. Go big or go home thumb.gif

I just bought a 7970 two days ago because, like you said OP, the price vs performance is at an outstanding point for AMD right now.

If I were you, I'd grab two 7950s or shell out the extra cash for a 7970/280x right now.
