Penicilyn, just for the record, I'm allergic to you - so no hard feelings.

Anyway, Jay - P is right, your TV might not be able to handle 1080i/p. Depending on how new it is, you might want to either call the manufacturer, or check with the people where you bought it from. If it says it's capable of the resolution and it's not getting up there, it could be defective.
