For reference, it takes 50% fan speed for my card to load ~63C which isn't very quiet. Also this is with 20C ambients and a case with killer airflow.

Also, what is your ambient at? I don't know how good your case is with airflow.

All manufacturer supplied "cool and quiet" solutions are poor imo. You can have cool OR quiet, but to get both you need an aftermarket cooler.

70F, 21C ambient.
My case has a fan pulling air in the front bottom, and I added a fan in my drive bay blowing over memory and top of Vid card.

Vented top, large perforated side panel with the H50 in pull/push, venting set up.
I disabled the top fan, It never worked right. The large side fan has been removed.

Im considering adding a 140mm silent fan to draw air in from that perf side panel.

Adding a side intake fan and a top exhaust fan would do wonders for your temps. The intake will feed cool air right to your card and especially with a card that exhausts inside the case, the top exhaust will get hot air out to prevent it from being recirculated. It would help your CPU temps too.

Agreed. I hate the though of taking out the Mobo to get to that top fan. The large side fan was removed due to the H50 hoses.

Guess it's time to mod this puppy.

Get those exhaust fans back in that case & you'll see better temps with that Lightning wink.gif
