The newer 3700 aren't all bad some people have been getting great overclocks, even 3ghz, but steppings aren't as known as the older versions. Plus the newer ones are supposed to have a better mem controller. You will have to post your stepping as soon as you get your cpu that way if yours is a good oc'er we can learn more about what steppings on the newer ones are good.
