So I've been wanting to watercool my CPU for some time now, but I have no clue how to watercool and what you need to do so.

I have an AMD Phenom x6 1090t and a friend suggested the H100 Cooler to me. I have ~$100 to spend.

ALSO : I have a CM Storm Scout so it must be able to fit in that case.

Suggestions & Tips?

What ever you do stay away from the Thermatake it is the worst in water cooling you could ever get.

For a good kit I would recommend one of the XSPC kits they are really good and come with every thing you need minus the
coolant. Fairly easy to get up and running and the Raystorm cpu blocks are really good. Have a look at http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c321/s1310/list/p1/Liquid_Cooling-Water_Cooling_Kits_-_Brands-XSPC_Water_Cooling_Kits-Page1.html. Plus the link posted to Newegg is for a discontinued item.

I've been running an H60 for about half a year and have loved everything about it. Easy to install, looks good, can have a pusher fan if needed, fairly inexpensive.

Get the H100 and breathe easy.

Good performance, easy to setup and don't have to bother with cleaning, leak testing and maintaining like in traditional water kits. Win yessir.gif

Definitely do nooootttt ever get that. Terrible terrible product in almost all aspects

For $100 I would definitely go the Corsair route, that's not anywhere near enough for a real quality custom loop and you will get great results with an H80 or H100

I looove my H100(both)
Keeps PII1090 on 890FX MB cool & quiet w/3.9 OC 24/7.
Kept FX8120 on 990FX in check up to about 4.5...
Also recently went to custom W/C,sucessful eventually.
Much trial & error(read:expense) and apprehension/disappointment.
Can be combative.
H100 wins for ease of use, will get you further than air...

I've been running an h50, for about a year now. It's still kickin' and cooling like it did when it was brand new. Definitely a good (cheaper) way to add liquid cooling to your PC.
