I believe that I am starting to hit the temperature barrier that my current configuration will allow for overclocking my 8350. I have all power savings features disabled according to the official 8350 overclocking guide on this forum. I wasn't noticing this issue when at lower clocks (4.4, 4.5, 4.6 or 4.7), but at 4.8Ghz I am. Considering my Core, Socket and Motherboard temps are all at reasonable temps, I'm thinking it's the VRMs themselves. I don't have sensors for them so I can't track what the temps are at. I guess the only way to know would be to open the case up and have a room fan blow directly on them and see if the issue goes away.

Is that what you guys think it most likely is? If it is I don't know how I'll be able to keep a fan blowing directly on them while at the same time not making my case look horrid.

Is there anyone else with a Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 that is having the same issue?

Thanks!
