They say around 200 hours of cycling (on and off use) and about a 2c drop in temps.

About 200hrs. I actually didn't see much of a difference from stock thermal paste until 2 weeks later... gave me a 10°C drop on load and 15°C on idle.

Damage is king, Speed kills, Style is everything.

so do i turn my computer on and off to burn it in? if i use it for 200 hours is that the same? usually i use stock compound but with stock compound my arctic cooler idle and load temps were higher than stock. so i put the arctic 5 on. big difference but if a burn in helps as much as the guy below me, theyre will definitely be some more overclocking involved

I would just use your computer like normal. Turning it off every night and on in the morning might speed up the process a little. Mostly just around 200 hours of normal use will work.

I'll be on my new website: Robotics News

I use a generic 10% silver paste, I have yet to test AS5 and I almost bought some yesterday when I was in Comp USA but I didn't really have $10 extra on me Comp USA sux.
