Also, Kool, it looks like you added the RAM wrong from the divider in that chart.

Aren't all Venice cores the same? If you get a 1.8 GHz (3000+) or a 2.2 GHz (3500+) they're the same chip, just "pre-overclocked" by the manufacturer, right? In that case, a 1.8 GHz should be able to reach 2.2 without a temperature higher than the temperature of the 3500+/2.2 GHz stocked chip.

Is anyone following? I've been wondering this for awhile.
My divider chart is flawless, heres my formula (using my PC as an example) 275 \\ 2 = 137.5 x 1.5 (150 divider) = 206.25 (My RAM) CPU-Z says the same thing.
Just try my chart, I swear it will work.
The "HT number" is your HT multiplier.

Is the 6800 GS the best nVidia card below the 7800 series?

I totally didn't follow your divider chart.

Why is the 6800 GT I saw cheaper than the GS then?

I don't even see any 6800 Ultras on NewEgg. What gives?

Is it the "XT"? If not, what's that?

Before I get into the divider stuff...well, could you sign on AIM now so I could talk to you about it? It's easier than the forums and posting.

3.3ghz x 6 = 19.8 intel speed
so in my case there would have to be an 8.4 ghz proc to measure up to my opteron 165 at 2.8 ghz per core?

not to mention the 2mb of L2 cache and the heat tolerant silicon the opteron 165 is made of. except for some of the pentium Ds which have 4mb of L2 cache, and the new Intel Server procs with L3 cache
