a) Higher FSB, Lower Multi

or

b) Lower FSB, Higher Multi

or is there no performance difference?

Higher FSB because it is the main communication between all components of computer...thus making your computer faster...

You want the highest FSB possible. The higher the FSB the more bandwidth. And you want the highest multi that will run with your high FSB. lol. Make sense? In other words its better to run 250x10 than it is to run 200x12.5, both will get you 2.5 ghz but the one with the higher FSB will be better.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.

also you want as close a match in your HTT and your memory speed...In other words you don't want to put a divider on your memory unless you have to...also if your memory is running faster that your HTT then it's a waste...
